 8/9 (Friday) - Day 4 of GYL Camp snooze till 7+am this morning cuz it's already 2+am when we went back to our room last night.. we had our breakfast at the same place and left the resort for city tour - SHOPPING at 9am.. i know that many people may find it REAL WEIRD about the idea of shopping in Kuching.. but well~ those that have been on package tour should know about these.. we were brought to bird nest shops and pottery factory to get their local products.. i saw the making of bird nest at the bird nest shop.. well~ the video they showed was not bad lahx.. *in terms of advertising* hahaz~ and up i DIDN'T buy any bird nest.. as i ALWAYS thinks+feels that it SUX!! *really DETEST them to the MAX manz!!* but i bought some other stuff thou.. *stuff that jill and choo requested* and bought one of Sarawak's specialty - PEPPER the next stop was the pottery factory.. i saw how pottery were made and this reminds me of my secondary 2 art lessons lahx.. *i've done pottery stuff before too k..the tools are still with me..nearly got my toes injured cuz of them last week* the process of making pottery is tedious.. thou it may seem pretty easy.. but it's real COOL+INTERESTING if ya know how to make it.. imagine yourself with ya beau and he/she is behind/infront of you.. his/her hands over/under yours.. and 2 of you are making the pottery TOGETHER and with the background music playing.. "oh~ may love.. my darling~~~" ain't it romantic?! hahaz~ the carving of patterns/designs on the pottery is tough work too.. it's the same for the colouring of it.. i really admire those artist manz!! they're REAL PATIENT people~ *kowtow to them* Next, we proceed to the pottery shop.. they've got LOTSA stuff inside lahx!! most of them are of no use to me.. even though some really caught my attention.. but due to budget constraint and the consideration of the luagage's weight.. i got NOTHING from there.. hehez~ after that we had brunch at this fastfood restaurant - Hartz Chicken.. it's a REAL COOL+INNOVATIVE fastfood restaurant.. it's really one of a kind.. cuz i don't think you can find such a fastfood restaurant here in Singapore.. it is buffet style with lotsa dishes.. from appetizers all the way till desserts.. even though it's main attraction is it's CHICKEN lahx.. but GUESS WHAT?! this fastfood restaurant is just DIRECTLY OPPOSITE KFC lahx k!! but it's still DOING WELL.. maybe even better than KFC?! *who knows right* hahaz~ and the price is DAMNZ cheap too lahx k!! *OPPS!!* reasonable i mean~ imagine RM$12.70 per adult from 2-4pm every monday-friday.. ain't it good? if only they have and outlet here in singapore arhx.. =P~ after lunch was SHOPPING.. SHOPPING.. and MORE SHOPPING!! LOLX~ i bought a sling bag and a clutch bag.. i'm bag crazy lahx K!! hahaz~ sad to say that time passes REAL QUICKLY during happy moments manz~ we had to leave the mall for Cultural Village.. =( it was still raining thou.. *since we left the resort till now* and due to the rain, we only had the chance to catch a show indoors and we're unable to tour the cultural village.. =( i think we're much "luckier" as compared to the MM+EEE peeps.. as heard from the guide that they're unable to do their Day 2 activities due to the rain.. *even though we're LATE* we're still able to catch the show.. and the show was really an EYE-OPENER for me.. as i didn't know that the tribal's funeral is much more "happening" than their wedding till today worx!! and i was pulled up by yanti and yani to dance on the stage lahx!! thanks arhx gurls~ =) it was REAL FUN!! with that, it marks the END of the camp.. we took a group photo at the cultural village.. SMART+SMIT yupz~  we had dinner after that at the same place as breakfast.. and had group discussion+student presentations+evaluation+final admin briefing.. the group discussion and presentation was ok.. the evaluation part was the worse.. made lotsa people cry.. and LAUGH like mad.. cuz our DEAR Miss Tan Yen Yen had been using the WRONG WORDS since the start of her briefing.. LOLX!! we thank-ed those that have "touched" us in some way throughout the camp.. and i've actually "touched" He Xuan cuz of persevering even though i'm wearing the guide's shoes while trekking.. cool ehx?! =.= we cried+laughed at the same time.. the Feedback part was the BEST lahx.. cuz EVERYONE had the SAME FEEDBACK.. guess what it is..? yepz~ THE FOOD SUX LOLX!! i can say that this camp is REAL FUN even though the activities aren't really that packed as compared to Sec3 camp.. LOLX~ i'm REALLY gonna miss Sarawak - Kuching.. as well as the guide.. even though he AIN'T a hunk.. but he's REAL nice+friendly and "cute" and it's only till Day3 than i realise that he's a chinese.. how slow can i be manz!! hahaz~ as there was NO Lights Out again.. we had movie session at the SMIT guy's room after the final admin briefing.. it was REAL FUN lahx k.. we had LOTSA drunkards after some of the EEE and MM people joined us.. i saw a few cute guys in MM+EEE group.. lolx!! can you imagine how cool they're not.. they brought laptops and projectors for their Gala Night.. LOLX~ but it's real FUNNY to see those drunkards go crazy and stuff.. i left their room around 3+am and went back to my room to sleep.. thanks to those peeps.. i didn't really watch much of the shows.. but did bonding with the SMIT people.. they're really a COOL bunch of peeps manz!! =) my last night at Santubong Resort was fun yet sad.. 4 nights here really made me appreciate my bed.. i've been missing it SO MUCH lahx k!! as well as my human sized teddy - baby.. *blush* -Lights Off- PS: this entry was written on 11.o9.o6 @ 11.10pm ★˜… My rantsSs @ 3:39 AM with |
